REGATRON has researched, developed and sold programmable power supplies and power electronics for 50 years. More than a hundred Regatron staff bring to bear the Swiss characteristics of quality, accurateness and creativity. A third of our staff is holding an academic degree in engineering.

Regatron AG is a subsidiary of Hardmeier Electronics AG, an independent, owner-managed family business.

REGATRON was first on the world market introducing all-digital fully programmable electrical Power Supplies and has attended the market since many decades very closely. The product portfolio therefore is well matched to the market’s requirements and offers among other features one prominent quality: The modular power topology. Ingenious data link techniques allow not only to operate individual units in parallel in order to extend the power system up to MW levels, but even mixed-mode of series connected units in parallel arrays and vice-versa is possible. By this, a maximum flexibility with respect to changing requirements and future expansion is given.

REGATRON’s new 4’000 m2 hi-tech purpose-built facility brings together our supply chain, development, engineering, sales and administration. Highlights are the engineering labs, which include a heat / cooling chamber, technical access to photovoltaic modules installed on our own roof for lab use and a comprehensive state-of-the-art EMC measuring area incorporating an anechoic chamber.
