Optional AAP: Function domain pattern generator e.g. allowing for the definition of the characeristic curves of fuel-cells, solar panels, and other linear or nonlinear electrical two-pole networks

REGATRON's unrivaled current-voltage range

REGATRON's advanced modular concept allows digitally controlled operation of power supply units in parallel, series and mixed mode. The individual power supply units can even have different power levels. Furthermore, the multi-unit operating mode can be switched between parallel, series and mixed, even automatically if desired. Together with the high autoranging factor of 3, these features result in a very wide, unprecedented current-voltage range for today's and tomorrow's test requirements in the user's lab or test bench. Here are some examples of single unit and multi-unit nominal output values. Intermediate power, voltage and current values are available in fine increments:

9 kW / 80 VDC / 338 A (single unit, 4U)
54 kW / 80 VDC / 2028 A (single unit, 10U)
54 kW / 1500 VDC / 108 A (single unit, 10U)
216 kW / 3000 VDC / 216 A (multi-unit system, one 19-inch-rack)
2376 kW / 2000 VDC / 3564 A (multi-unit system, eleven 19-inch-racks)

In summary: The key data of a power supply range from 0...9 kW to 0...2000+ kW, up to 3000 VDC.
