The term "TopCon System" denotes a power supply that is assembled into a cabinet. Using a cabinet allows for the integration of several TopCon devices, possibly linked to TC.LIN systems or with an integrated Q4 or Q3 functional unit.
There exist various TopCon Systems that are presented in this section:
- Unidirectional Q1 DC source:
This power supply system includes one or more TopCon power supply modules, providing only a positive current (with positive voltage)
- Unidirectional Q4 DC sink:
In certain cases - for example during battery recycling - it is required to just have the energy feedback from the DC side to the mains. Regatron Q4 DC sink systems (e.g. with electronic load) offer exactly this functionality.
- Bidirectional Q14 TopCon.GSS:
The "GSS" is an ultra-compact bidirectional power system. A standard DC power supply is combined with a fast feedback unit that leads the energy back into
the mains grid.
- Bidirectional Q14 regenerative:
Regenerative bidirectional system offers a standard TopCon DC source in combination with a DC/AC feedback converter. This allows to return energy of the load as AC current into the mains grid.
- Bidirectional Q14 ResAct:
The "ResAct" system is a bidirectional system that offers a standard TopCon DC source in combination with a fast DC sink. The sink energy is dissipated as heat (water, air).
- Bidirectional Q14 ResPas:
The "ResPas" system is a bidirectional system that offers a standard TopCon DC source in combination with power resistors. The sink energy is dissipated as heat (water, air).
- Q13 TopCon ACLF Source:
This systems allows to switch the direction of the voltage during operation, hence it is a AC source for low frequencies.
