REGATRON is the core of a medium-sized, owner-managed group of companies with the following technical expertise and resources:

  • Comprehensive hardware and software development capabilities focused on DC & AC power supplies
  • Electronics manufacturing with modern SMT and THT equipment, including selective soldering
  • Electronics testing by means of flying probe testers, automated 3D optical inspection, powerful microscopes, and boundary scan
  • Cost and lead time optimizing manufacture of power supplies with integrated quality control
  • Automated regenerative test benches for single power supply units as well as for entire power supply systems
  • An accredited in-house EMC laboratory with fully equipped RF-shielded chambers for all electromagnetic compatibility tests

Our group of companies employs close to 200 people. A worldwide network of sales partners and our own subsidiary in the USA ensure REGATRON’s strong international market presence.

What are our power supplies used for?

Electronics subassembly in automated function and performance test, as part of the integrated device manufacturing and testing process.
G5 power supply (54 kW) in our in-house EMC lab.

REGATRON’s DC and AC power supplies are used worldwide for development and testing purposes and as industrial power supplies mainly in the following industries: e-mobility, renewable energy, smart grids, energy storage, photovoltaics, aviation industry, automotive industry, electrical industry, surface technology and railroad technology. Power supplies, application software and system integration – all made by REGATRON – result in turnkey power supply systems in the power range from 10 kW to 2400+ kW.

REGATRON’s innovative product range includes AC/DC, AC/AC, DC/AC, and DC/DC power supplies that can be used universally or as application-specific solutions with reference to test and EMC standards.
